After several issues with my Hornby E Link power delivery with the Hornby 4 amp transformer, I have just bought the DCC  Alpha Power 18v   5amp unit which appears to be working fine, however, my monitor now has interference when the Alpha Power unit is switched on.

Just to explain, the Alpha unit is powering the E Link direct and the PC runs the railway with the secondary monitor connected to the PC but mains powered.

How do we surpress the interference of this monitor?

Has anyone got any ideas on this surprising issue?

Have you tried giving DCCconcepts a call?  They have probably just missed this post.

Yes but it rang out! However the unit failed and has been returned by post yesterday.
The Email I sent refers to this forum message.
There is a possibility that the unit was faulty from the start, we will see when the new unit arrives.
Many thanks

It may ring out occasionally at the moment, sorry, We are down a couple of people right now, and many incoming calls are long conversations. Lets see what happens with the return item.
