Mister Rusty
There are anomalies within
Just looking at diamond crossings, for obvious reasons.
In the code 83 section, the text states insul- and electro-frogs designs are available, but the specific info adjacent to the illustration states unifrog.
Also, illustrations are transposed as the proof-reader could not tell diamond fro m slip. There are other errors, but l am not going through the catalogue exhaustively.
Catalogue publication is shown inside the back cover, on the left-hand side, just above their name. E-mails to Peco should elucidate the exact spec.
Now, this kit, whilst excellent in most respects is not cheap.
However this does mean that there is capital available for upgrades of design, and the blade pivot is one area that has been upgraded over the years, and of course, it was designed to use the over-centre springing, not our mods of removing the spring boxes. [l do all mine].
lt is my guess, and only a guess, that the items using the old-style of loose fishplate [as a pivot] may well be the slower-moving items in the range [ something has to come last].
Just ask your supplier to verify which type is available in your market-place.
2 shops checked yesterday offered me brand-new, in-stock items with the older pivot.
Hope that this helps
Pete

Mister Rusty
E-catalogue not much better, using generic and e-range images, not the exact item.
Just double-check everything that you desire.
Use a shop retailer, rather than a pack-slasher.
Upside, personal service, hopefully knowledgeable, the proprietors usually are enthusiasts
Downside, they may not have the latest stock.
Pack-slasher, fast service, large stocks, not so knowledgeable.
DCCconcepts, erudite, honest advice, includes other product info if it suits your needs better, an all-round good team.

In 50 years of diagnostic and analytical employment [mechanical warranty and servicing], l have become very cautious and cynical about anyone's claims.
I am yet to be dis-satisfied with DCCconcepts, even ordering from them on occasions, when a lower price has been available elsewhere [that's Chris' fault].
