Hi I am new to this forum and although I've been reading for a while, I still cannot get my head around the digital world.
So I have got an O gauge train layout made up with Lenz track points and a Peco double slip crossing. My DCC unit is Lenz. 
My plan is to drive the trains with the Lenz system, but have a stand alone unit for point control with a mimic board or a simple switch box.
I would like to use the cobalt digital point motors. The Lenz points have a frog wire sticking out which I use to make it live ( red arrow). Ignore blue arrow.
How to wire the double slip I have no idea yet. Perhaps someone has got a picture how to wire that one ?
In order to have a Lenz Independent system could I run my layout like in this advice?

Oh and before I forget, I would like to have signals linked to the points, so that if the point switches, so does the signal. ðŸ˜Š

Hi Sandra, all I can offer I'm afraid is a welcome to the forum and an apology for not being able to help you.  I am only recently back into the hobby after a lifetime of absence so I too spend a lot of time trying to get my head around the details of the DCC way of controlling things.  What I can say though is that the team at DCCconcepts will be on line to help you during today.  I know there are a lot of diagrams on the website for download but could not find a double slip for you but I'm sure there will be one.

Welcome to the forum.

The diagram you have linked to is ideal for a stand-alone point control system using Cobalt Digital IP point motors. 

If you are using separate control for the points, you will have to wire the frogs via the S2 contacts - link to diagram.

For the double slip - the linked diagram shows the relationship between the point motors and the opposite frogs.
However - this diagram does not show a separate accessory feed.
You will have to connect frogs (and DCC track feed) via the S2 switches of the Cobalt Digital IP motors as per the first diagram.
