I have a number of Ad8FX decoders running Cobalt Omega point motors which work fine.

My question is  on Ecos you have the facilty which i have always used of operating accesories on startup.
Now with Existing and previous installed solenoids Running off Lenz Ls 150 decoders this worked exactly as it should and on startup of the Ecos all the motors would be thrown in sequence.
Since using the AD8FX decoders all the Lenz LS150 decoders still throw any solenoids i have installed on the layout but the Cobalts running from the AD8FX decoders do not do this. Is there a reason for this or something that needs setting on the decoder itself?

Why would the motors need throwing at start-up? Cobalts do not lose position when the power is off.
No, there is nothing in the Cobalt or accessory decoder to change, but you may be able to change the command length from the EcoS or institute a set of route commands.

Throwing the motors at each start up ensures regular operation of any motor on a layout some are used often some rarely with any mechanical device if left sitting and not working for a long time they can become sticky of locked in position. Plus of course its moving the point blades.
This has nothing to do with position as the motor would be in the position when it was last switched off , the Ecos  throws the switch twice on start up to return to its original position when its switched on.
This is not  major problem i just wondered why this did not occur when using an Ad8FX decoder.

When I was using the Sig-na Track controller the controller always started up with all accessories showing in a specific position.  If you did not return all points and accessories to this position before shutdown then they would start up in the wrong position.

The Ecos on the other hand always starts up with everything in the same position as it was shut down.  So perhaps while the Cobalts do not loose position perhaps it is possible for the controller to do so?
