Anthony Rowden Arry
This will be my new layout up in my railway room. I’ve just moved into our new home and been given a room for my hobby that will keep me out of the pubs on those long dark nights. It’s N and my thing is scratch building my buildings and scenic features. As you can see I have been busy building, so I can get started running.  Till our extension is finished in the new year I will be concentrating on buildings till I can get plans finished. 5A72B8FD-1D26-4B35-A68F-399EBDF5EE52.jpeg  03CD273C-C0E8-45B8-B7AB-DFC59EF821D3.jpeg  E8733C8E-4064-44D2-8D06-84C29C8AF0EE.jpeg  31539408-B117-434D-84F6-B1CFD21A205E.jpeg  5018E78D-D7F5-4705-B40C-FEAF3A357FB7.jpeg  8ABC5231-1A9D-4F8B-9912-B3757138F34B.jpeg  BF973561-46CD-4AD7-8F2E-17EA458FC194.jpeg  9ABF95FE-C5E4-4727-B99F-6E73715A3B7B.jpeg  22CF5057-6889-4A5B-9A11-FC8462076C22.jpeg  6ECFEE35-BB16-4CB6-8DF8-818E1B223D4F.jpeg  2F9D1091-887D-418C-9797-F9D5ABC43B2D.jpeg

Your buildings look great Anthony. The black and white image of the station complex (third last one) is very interesting.

Agree with Earl Grey above LOL
Most interesting to see presumably what the NER station was like before its WWII bombing.

Went to wife's cousin's funeral in M'boro last year where the preacher man assured us "Heaven was going to be just like here in St Barnabus, Linthorpe Rd. only for ever and ever"
Might Hell be a better option ? (at least warmer)

I've long admired your buildings Anthony. You'll have to share some tips!

I plan on posting new builds as they are in production for my new layout, Barry.  The BW pic is roughly what I intend building with the canopy from pre war years, but in a modern context.

Anthony I will look forward to the new stuff, I think people will be truly fascinated by your take on modelling a real town.

Hi Ahjay
please bear with me but I can’t find a “n scale layout section”- I’ve looked under this category but can’t see a sub cat with that heading and if I do a general search it brings me back here
i know I’m being thick but as a relative newcomer I’m just trying to find my way around and as a n gauge modeller the n scale layout section would be of interest

could you please signpost me to it

regards

Paull

Several ways to help navigate

ONE.....

Categories,

Your Layouts and Dioramas

Layouts in TT,N, 2mm and smaller scales

TWO......

quick link =

Layouts in TT, N, 2mm and smaller scales

as Bunkerarge says,

THREE....

also look at the top of this page if you look at a subject in Topics and want t work out where you are.....

for instance you asked the question in

Middlesorough in the loft

where the title is at the top of the page, directly underneath it is where it is homed i.e.

Layouts in TT,N,2mm and smaller scales...which designates where you are.

I have to be fair as in all things when I first arrived I too could run around in circles, so do not feel embarrassed about asking, I have been there done that and got the T shirt 😃

Thanks guys -I just assumed that because the post said removed to “ n scale layout section” that there was a distinct n gauge section

classic case of overthinking and you know what they say about assume

anyway I’m finding the forum really helpful and in general quite intuitive to use - just an occasional senior moment which I’m not to proud to admit to and there will be more!!!!

thanks
