Thanks AJ Its good to know I don't  need and upgrade chip. For some reason although Ive programmed it as NCE instructions it just has no effect on the functions I don't know what I'm  doing wrong of if theres a problem with either the hand held controller or the power pro unit. Id love to come up to settle and visit Yorkshire again but its too expensive to come from  Perth West Australia and sadly I dont think theres an NCE agent any where near here,  I've  tried to obtain NCE controller spares before but can only source through the internet. Hence I need all the help I can get as there are limited resources here.
I do appreciate all the inputs on this forum.
Andrew.

Rand uses NCE all the time

(He is our Perth customer Service guy)

You will find him at supportau@dccconcepts.com

When I was having problems (I still do, btw, I'm not sure I really like those throttles at all), I phoned up NCE tech support and they, over the phone ran through the various ways to check things.  I know you're in Australia, but sounds like an across the pacific phone call is going to be worth its weight in gold. Otherwise folks are just shooting in the wind here to help you out.

Just my 2cents (pennies) before you pull your hair out!
