In many years, with "them", I have found many hundreds of fine well motivated people to work with.  On the other hand the very few of them which failed to qualify for that description, were beyond reasonable description.  They have some distance to travel to obtain the civilisation levels found on this side of the 'Pond'.

That's been said before, too often.
Sadly their sloppiness is catching on here as ''trendy''.
I do prefer it to the current correct politik-speak over here, though.
English has a word for every occasion, and they should be found, learnt and used.
It broadens one's nolij .
Rumor has it that American English came from lack of decent education standards in the rapid growth of the continent at the turn of the 20th century,
when there was exponential growth of settlements and schooling was home-taught, if at all.
Having worked for several American companies in th e60s, particularly Caterpillar Tractor Co. of Peoria, I find that l am pretty much tri-lingual, in English, theirs, ours and waffle Ã°Å¸â„¢Æ’🙄

Nice to see jingoism is alive and well LOL.
Damn colonials never paid what they agreed with George for their Independence either. Keep it friendly though....
For those who missed it years ago.... the "attributed to Cleese", US-targeted declaration of revocation. It still seems somewhat appropriate given its initial presidential comment though.

8284 A classic VW HERBIE

IMG_8284.jpg

The model has loads of correct details, but still screams model

no too much I could not bring myself o do it

Original Herbie Stunt Car

Uhhh, If I had two maybe but not I think that would be worse!

The Love Bug (1969) Herbie Wins The El Dorado - YouTube

one or the other please!

Herbie goes steampunk

now this is a Herbie wannabe BUT the not on all four wheels has that real Herbie feel 🙂

GTA4 HERBIE The Love Bug Driving ALONE - Volkswagen Beetle ...

So as I understand it this is an exact replica of the real Herbie, possibly even used in the films, so this with charisma, I assume over time the white has yellowed, much like the paint in ones front room 😃

0063 firstly those incredible yucky front lights need being dealt with

Jaz, Herbie never was white!  I always put it down to the poor camera and film quality of the day which made him seem white but he was always ivory/cream/offwhite!!

Absolutely!

One of the most abused words in the entire english language nowadays!  Sometimes I count up how many times it appears in the news, usually completely out of context and invariably in a grammatically incorrect place in a sentence.   ðŸ˜

This thread is about improving vehicles, but there are a good number which frankly just hit the layout and do a brilliant job.
